Got my Super Alloy 1 kit on Saturday and used it to repair a pewter tankard with a broken hinge on the lid. In 40+ years as a jewelry repairman, pewter repair has always been considered "impossible" but the repair was fairly easy with the Super Alloy 1.

Heat control was very important as the tankard lid was very thin, but in the end the repair was strong & serviceable...

    A quick touch-up with
artist paint matched the old oxidized color of the lid & the customer was very happy.

Thanks for an excellent product & the online videos were very informative and helpful.

Since writing to you via your
website, I now found your email address enabling me to attach photos of our first cast iron repair with your 77 rod.  It was amazing how nicely the 77 flowed with no splattering and popping as
experienced in prior cast iron welding repairs.

We did not take time to go for a real pretty weld, being more concerned with getting a good, deep penetration weld for maximum strength on this cast iron mounting bracket for the heavy sanding head for a Craftsman 6x48 belt sander in which this part was no longer
available, thus rendering it useless until along comes Muggy Weld
    77!!!

Now we will have a much used valuable shop tool again
    available for regular use.

Thank you kindly for your great neighborly customer service.

These pics come from a new aerospace test facility that we are constructing at the University of Notre Dame. The SSF-6 is working great.

(The “powder” that you see in the one photo is actually the pink flux coating from the rod. I scraped a little bit off the rod and applied it under my mating part to try to ensure good solder flow under the
part. I am attempting to make all of these fittings air tight as they are used for pressure measurements. We can’t have any leaks.

I had very little warpage of my base metal and I think this is really going
    to work out very well.)

I would have bet this was a waste of money. Boy, was I wrong! The fan on my antique car hit the radiator when the one lower mount bolt fell
out. It just hit 10 of the tubes slightly. Your Super Alloy 1 fixed the tubes without much difficulty. It did take a little learning experience, but I couldn't be happier. It saved me a $450.00 custom made aluminum radiator.
